[fpr 1736] Statistical methods in psychology journals

刊行されてから１年にもなりますがやっと気づきました。

Wilkinson, L. and Task Force on Statistical Inference (1999). Statistical Methods 
in Psychology Journals:Guidelines and Explanations. American Psychologist, 54, 
594-604.

というAPA　投稿規定の原稿がでてますね。

例えば，このメーリングリストでも話題になった，サンプルサイズの問題でも

Power and sample size.  Provide information on sample size
and the process that led to sample size decisions. Document the
effect sizes, sampling and measurement assumptions, as well as
analytic procedures used in power calculations.....

話題にならなかったけど，
Computer programs.  .... 
Do not report statistics found on a printout without understanding how they are 
computed or what they mean. Do not report statistics to a greater precision than is 
supported by your data simply because they are printed that way by the program.

とか，
effect size を書け。1994のAPA's publication manual にも encourage したけどほとんど
無視されたそうだ。

信頼区間を書け。

多重検定の問題にも当然触れている。

因果性についてはちょっと長い。

など，実験のデザイン，サンプリングから結論に至るまでの注意がある。

大学院大学ではなんらかの教育があったのでしょうね。

日本語でもこういうの必要なのでは。
