The objective of this study is to evaluate the performance of the prognosis of AIDS in relation to treatment methods and the factors affecting them with a tree-structured model. A total of 86 diagnosed AIDS patients with the number of lymphnode 200/mm3 and 70 patients with the number of lymphnode 50/mm3 were followed up for analysis. This paper identifies the effects of prognostic factors of AIDS and quantifies the patient characteristics that are related to the prognosis reflected the changing effects and its critical values over time to the prognostic model. The level of CD4SL, the place of infection, the treatment of AZT and the CD8SL level were selected for prognostic factor of AIDS patient's survival.
